Fear Manifestation: I favor in-person shared experiences. Deku fears not being able to protect those dear to him. This is one of his hot buttons and can make him lose his shit and be oblivious to danger around him. This will likely manifest as seeing Bakugo (also in game) seriously injured in battle, though I can guest star other characters if you'd like.
Helping others: Deku as a trauma buddy is a very kind and compassionate presence with a big protective streak. Don't mistake his tears for weakness, he is very stubborn about saving people.
Infection Involvement: Deku will attempt to de-escalate conflict where possible, and he's very good at inspiring protagonist speeches that try to appeal to the heart!
I'm down to play the extremes of Stage 2 & 3, to the point that superpowered Deku becomes a walking calamity. What does a symbol of fear look like when it's sweet-faced Deku? Time to show his feral side. He will attempt to "save" people by insisting they stop meddling—by force if necessary. He's got this! He's fine!!
Talking him down is very effective, so people without powers or tools can still help until he runs off to the next conflict. There will be help too: Deku has, uh, passengers who strongly disagree with Im'mari. It may look like Deku is talking to himself a little oops.
