There are definitely reasons! I'm not super familiar with the different incarnations of Spiderman canons, but I saw you were talking about him shying away from/not wanting to be a villain, and Linhardt has a very strong moral compass so I thought it might be good CR for them to talk about ethics, science, etc. Might be a good way to show Otto's character development!

The reason Lin feels so strongly about not letting any of the possessed get hurt is because his first exposure to the idea that science isn't always great is seeing an 'experiment' which resulted in a village full of possessed people forced to kill each other. Just seems like a good point of connection.
